John has over 20 years experience across private equity, operations and consulting. He most recently was Executive Vice President at The Pritzker Organization, LLC (TPO), a merchant bank and family office representing business interests of the Pritzker family of Chicago. He has been an Officer or Director of numerous privately held companies, and prior to that, worked at Goldman Sachs and Boston Consulting Group. John serves on the Board of Directors and Audit Committees of LOYAL3 and Purch.

Bill Blais

Executive Vice President

Bill has 28 years experience as an investment banker, most recently with Goldman Sachs & Co. Bill joined Goldman in 2007 as a Managing Director in the Investment Banking Division and headed up the firm's corporate finance execution effort. He was responsible for leading the execution of complex equity, equity-linked and debt offerings in a wide range of industries. Prior to that, Bill spent 22 years at Morgan Stanley & Co., as a Managing Director in the Global Capital Markets group.

Julia Cowles

Chief Legal Officer

Julia has over 20 years of experience in corporate law, specializing in capital markets and complex business transactions, with significant experience advising companies and underwriters on public offerings and compliance with SEC and FINRA regulations. Prior to LOYAL3, Julia was a partner at Davis Polk & Wardwell, a leading international law firm. While at Davis Polk, Julia worked on a broad range of capital markets transactions including complex and international offerings, as well as mergers and acquisitions, strategic transactions and general corporate matters. She is a member of the Board of Trustees of Hamilton College and a former member of the Corporations Committee of the State Bar of California.

Kim Tu

Chief Financial Officer

Kim brings more than 20 years of accounting, finance, and SEC reporting experience specializing in the securities industry. Prior to LOYAL3, Kim was with Merriman Holdings, Inc., Nollenberger Capital Partners, Inc. and E*OFFERING where she served as Principal Financial Officer. Before entering the private industry, Kim was an experienced audit manager with Arthur Andersen LLP. Kim is also a Certified Public Accountant and a member of the AICPA.

Dana Schmidt

Chief Compliance Officer

Dana brings more than 20 years of compliance experience specializing in broker-dealer and investment advisor compliance. Prior to LOYAL3, Schmidt served for 7 years as Chief Compliance Officer and Chief Administrative Officer of Microplace, an eBay innovative online broker-dealer, and as a Trustee for the PayPal Mutual Funds. Prior to eBay, Dana was Integration Manager for Wells Fargo Fund's $29 billion acquisition of Strong Financial. Prior to Wells, Schmidt spent thirteen years as Chief Administrative and Chief Compliance Officer for Montgomery Asset Management following several years at Morgan Stanley.

James has over 25 years of experience in software engineering spanning device drivers, compilers, web services, and financial systems. Most recently, James was Director of Software Engineering at Concurrent, where he led the team responsible for Cascading, the leading big data API. Prior to Concurrent he held director of engineering positions at Momentum Software and SmartPrice.com.

Blake Schneider

Blake has 10 years of experience specializing in strategy, operations, and finance. He began his career with a strategic investment firm, The Parkside Group, immediately immersing himself in the operations at its portfolio company, MacGregor Golf Company. He has a wide range of experience and has contributed at the operating level in functional areas such as financial analysis, marketing, human resources, and product. He was instrumental in the acquisition of Greg Norman Collection.

Chris Kelly

Chris Kelly is a Silicon Valley-based attorney who represents innovative companies on privacy, security, safety and regulatory affairs. Most recently, Chris was a Democratic candidate for Attorney General of California. As Facebook's first Chief Privacy Officer, General Counsel, and Head of Global Public Policy, Chris helped build the company from its college roots to a service for everyone and worked with Attorneys General in all 50 states to develop effective safeguards protecting children from online sexual predators.
