By offering a $10 minimum investment, the CSOP™ platform makes stock ownership possible for everyone. Since most companies have stock prices higher than $10 per share, CSOPs provide participants partial shares, known as “fractional shares.” Rather than being required to buy whole shares of stock, you're able to buy dollar amounts that fit your budget.

Typically, if you wanted to buy your favorite stock, you’d have to buy a minimum of one share, which for the purpose of this illustration say costs $50 per share. If you wanted to buy two shares, you'd have to buy $100 worth and so forth. Keep in mind this doesn't include the normal fees you’d have to pay in addition to the share price to buy the stock.

Even the lowest transaction fees available today make a $10 or $25 purchase of stock not practical — as the fees comprise 40-60% of your purchase price.

By contrast, with a CSOP, every dollar you invest goes toward the stock, since you are buying stock directly from the company and are paying no fees to buy or sell stock.
